Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija - Cabanatuan City Police Station conducted flag raising ceremony in relation to the 29th PNP Ethics Day Celebration with the  theme " Serbisyong May Malasakit, Kaayusan at Kapayapaan Tungo sa Kaunlaran, Handog ng Pambansang Pulisya Kabalikat ang Simbahan at Pamayanan", held in front of Cabanatuan City Hall on January 16, 2023. Every year, the PNP celebrates Ethics Day to highlight the importance of moral principles being internalized by PNP personnel. To institutionalize the ideals reflected in the PNP Code of Professional Conduct and Ethical Standards, this event was declared a part of PNP customs and traditions.

Police Staff Sergeant Corpuz assisted us with daily tasks inside the police station. PSSg Corpuz taught us the proper way to do a spot report after the vehicular accident which transpired at Brgy. Magsaysay Norte, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.  A spot report is an immediate first investigation or incident report sent to a higher office up to the headquarters regarding the commission of the crime, the occurrence of the natural or man-made disaster, or unexpected incidents involving casualties and property damage.                                                                       ...

Academy History

The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) was created in pursuit of professionalizing public safety service in the country. It found its existence in various executive and legislative issuances. Presidential Decree 1184  known as the Integrated National Police Personnel Professionalization Act of 1977 provides the first mention of the PNPA as a service training institution for police and fire personnel under the then Integrated National Police (INP) Service. Presidential Decree 1780  (Providing the Philippine National Police Academy with an Academic Charter and Expanding its Curricular Programs), the PNPA was provided with its own academic charter in order to enhance and professionalize the Integrated National Police. Mandate, Function, and Quality Policy

  Mandate Under Section 5 of RA 11279, the PNPA shall be the premier institution for police education and the primary source of commission of Police Lieutenants. The PNPA shall be under direct administrative and operational supervision and control of the Chief of the PNP. Function In the conduct of its academic program, the Academy shall have the function, power, and authority to grant and confer academic degrees and/or proficiency certificates or diplomas and such other appropriate privileges to successful participants (Section 5, PD 1780). It shall endeavor to provide the necessary function as a special higher education institution in the country in consonance with its trifocal functions in instruction, research, and extension.
